Thread: IS this new ?? Have to pull all items off in 37 Days or you loose it?

Been starting to have Auction Expired messages and the stuff is "Poof" gone. CSR said the line cant leave stuff in stockroom for 7 days, i said no they werent in there if something is unsuccessful i relist it imediatly, . But was told last night that i have to pull it off my vender then relist again to keep the stuff from "poof" WTH. i run 12 venders all fully stocked you telling me i have to waste that much more time a month pulling it off, getting a email i dont want then relisting it.??
I lost crates of White Furny and Paintings. Millions of creds that are gone. Anyone know when this went into place, and y?
been a merchant almost since day one and have never had this problem before and i know there are items i have had on there for more than 37 days.

It used to be 7 days for sale and 7 days for stock room I think...
But the CSR is correct. You have stuff up for sale for 30 days, if not bought it goes to the stockroom for 7 days. If not relisted, they will go poof. Now, as for pulling them into your inventory, you shoudln't have to do that, just hit the relist button on the stock room tab. That's what I do, and it works fine for me.
If you've had stuff on there for more than 37 days then you're really lucky, because the time limit total is 37 days.

Hmm..I've never had to pull items from my vendor to relist...has anyone else had to do this?

I'm having the same problem. I check my stockroom every day. Anything that's there, goes back up for sale. Every few days I get an email saying "Item Expired, and that because I didn't pick it up, it's been destroyed." The problem is...it was never in the stockroom to begin with, and I never got an email saying the auction had been unsuccessful.
I do still get emails on unsuccessful auctions, but the server seems to be randomly pulling items on occasion and destroying them for no reason. This has happened on various of my vendors, on three different planets. One vendor had only been up and running for two days when it happened, so there's no way any item was due to expire.
Trying to get CSR help on this is pointless. They seem to be too dense to understand that the items never went to the stockroom, but were just destroyed spontaneously. I least now I know I'm not the only person having this problem.

I had that happen once and the CSR told me that nothing had actually expired and it was probably related to an old item.

ok here is how it is going,
i list it 30 days it is unsuccessful goes to stock room, within 24 hours i re list it. Now i am getting expired emails.
OK the item never was in the stockroom it jsut goes poof after being on your vender for 37 days total.
CSR wrote back said you ahve to pull it from your vender after thirty 30 days, then put it back up.
its B.S. hasnt been that way, something must changed. I am loosing millions of creds a week now cause things are poofing and cant get them back. Yea they think i am storying stuff in the vedners and not interested in helping.

I have always done that. Simple because it so much easier when you have many items with identical prices. Then all you have to do to sell another is to mark it in the sales window and press return. If you have 20 identical paintings, it is a lot easier to do it this way then to re sell them from the stockroom.

That's a bunch of bologna. That's one CSR that doesn't have a darn clue. When your sale expires after 30 days of being on the vendor it goes into the stockroom where you have 7 days to relist it. It still works that way as I get a few things expireing every day.
Now, if you don't see it on your stockroom list, try checking your "Location Filter." If you have it set on "Vendor", the bottom choice, it will only show what is in the stockroom of that particular vendor. Click "This Region" for all of your local vendors.
As you say you have been a merchant for a very long time, I think you probably already know this, so I certainly won't dismiss this as a bug. There are a lot of them in this game.
As far as CSR's helping. I have seen very little on actual help, and quite a lot on how often they dismiss your request for help. Out of 5 times I have asked for help, I have been helped once.

I reported this bug last week myself. I was positive (absolutely positive) that I had no items in my stockroom and no items available for pickup on the bazaar, and I was getting item expired messages. I have vendors on two planets, and I even traveled to both planets to check stockrooms individually (not trusting the galaxy view of the stockroom after items kept poofing). I'm not sure what is causing it.
In one instance I started getting sale unsuccessful emails as I was working on the vendor in question. Checking the other items (paintings) I decided to pull them all and relist right away. Going to the stockroom, I immediately noticed I had fewer paintings than I had pulled. Checking unsuccessful emails I counted 9, checking the stockroom I had 6 paintings...three paintings vanished. I reported it and suspect I will get item expired notifications for those three paintings soon.
Since then I have carefully matched unsuccessful sale emails with stockroom items as I relist them. So far, no more vanished items, so this bug seems very random.
