What the hell is up with this? It gives me nothing? 3 weeks of XP for what? please tell me I am missing something.

Thanks for the answer. Okay it took a week, which seems like 3 weeks as I can level in anything else in a few days.

I just picked up Hiring III and I went to one of my vendors and tried to give her something to wear (a jacket - just to test it out). She told me something to the effect that she wasn't going to wear something just because I want her to. I guess it didn't look nice enough for her or something. I'll have to find a dress or something and see how that works.

Same thing. I tried to give one of mine some Paneled Boots and he said He wasn't going to wear something just because I wanted him too. I'm not sure if this was the same message it would give before I got Hiring III as I never tried it.


Surely someone out there must know the answer.

That's the standard answer..yet another broken Merchant ability.


I qualify for Hiring III today..I'll try it out tonight.

I got zip for Hiring III except another terminal vendor option. None of my vendors would wear any clothes that I gave them. I surrendered the Hiring III skill soon after.

Okay, what good is Hiring III ? At Hiring II, we get every race and type of vendor needed. The only purpose I can see is it's a stepping stone to Hiring IV where we can dress our vendors. Is there some other hidden skill for Hiring III that I'm not aware of ?

My memory is that it is this vendor Clicky that is awarded at Hiring III.

Not trying to claim its any huge prize..its just what you get.

In my earliest days as a merchant, I wanted only terminal vendors. That one was my favorite one.

I hated to upgrade to NPC's but it just needed to be done.

There will always be a special place in my heart for it.
