Heck the timer for the sales is 30 days. You could have a vendor deleted before it the items even fell in the storeroom.

My reading of the patch notes is 42 days not 28.

14 Days Until the Vendor is marked "Unused"
14 Days until the Unused Vendor is reported to the merchant via email
14 Days after the email the vendor is deleted.

I think this is a mis-read. Let me explain.

I got the email stating my vendor was unused and slated for deletion LESS THAN TWO WEEKS AFTER PUBLISH 10.

I think this means, as it approaches the two weeks limit, you get the email, and then you get two weeks approximately after recieving the email before it poofs. Thats 4 weeks. If it was 6 weeks, I would not have gotten the email less than 2 weeks after publish 10, right?

As I stated before in a couple of threads, I relisted an item from the stockroom and got the same email several days later. I sold an item form my inventory to the vendor and had my husband's character buy it and never got another email. I do not know if the sale from the inventory to vendor or the sale to my husband's character both reset it or just one action did. The devs say both reset it.

I believe, you MUST sale from inventory, not stockroom, and it is 4 weeks, not 6.

The patch note we are talking about was part of the notes for pub 10.3 which was released this week. I wouldn't assume that the 42 days applied BEFORE 10.3. I am going on the assumption that it was 14 days before publish 10.3 and is now 42 days, though I am asking for confirmation of that.

For those of you who have vendors disappear before 10.3 I would pursue those as a bug until told otherwise.
