Thread: Seeing vendors inside a building while passing buy

Please forgive me because i'm still new to Merchant. I've placed a few vendors in my PA hall, but when i'm outsite and hit ctrl+M I don't see them listed with vendors from other people that are near buy. I can see the white triangle for the vendors, but there's no text listing them as vendors.


What am I doing wrong?

Do i have to have a certian skill box to allow them to be seen?

Yep - you need Advertising III (I think) to list the vendors on the planetary map. When you've got that skill, use the vendor's radial menu to register the vendor -- the maintenance fee goes up a bit when you do.

I mean, not that fancy store-bought dirt.
That stuff's loaded with nutrients. I can't compete with that stuff.

Yes only registered vendors show up on the planetary and overhead map, and yes its the Advertising 3 skill
