I just got business and i cant figure out how to write descriptions on items i want to sell. How do i do it?

The only way to name items is in the crafting process, just before you click Create Prototype Item.

There is a comment field you can type descriptions into when you list an item for sale. Scroll down on that window before you submit the item to your vendor and you'll see it.
