Hi,
My best friend who was a master merchant has just left the game, and has bequethed all his possessions to me. I have access to his charactor for a short time, and have to move the 4000+ items which are held in various vendors. This obviously means I will have to become a merchant for a period of time, until I sort everything out. If anyone can answer these couple of questions, it would be appreciated.
Firstly, what is the quickest way to grind to at least Novice Merchant? Which skills should I be grinding? I need fancy vendors, I just need to store the damn stuff.
Secondly, with the various changes to Merchant's lately I do not have a clue how many items a vendor can hold. Is it unlimited or is the vendor limit capped by the expertise of the Merchant?
Any other hints or recommdations would be appreciated.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news.. but there is not "quick" way to grind Merchant. you get daily XP for vendors and xp when people look at your vendor. That just takes time.
Also in order to store a Master Merchant's amount of stuff your gonna have to be a master merchant. To Place a vendor you only need Busness 3. but you cannot place many items on it. As you go up the Merchant tree you get more vendors and more storage space... but again this takes time...
My sugestion would be to either go through your buddies stuff and keep what you would acctually need and either delete/sell/auction the rest as fast as you can.
Haveing a sale where you sell things rediculisly low will usually move stuff pretty quick... Or you can Play Santa in Mos Eisley and give the newbs a bunch of suff hehe
), even donate it to the players that regularly spend time in Mos Eisley because they like helping out the new players.
Or keep the Toon as an Alt.. Having a Master Merchant is kinda nice (no matter what the nay sayers say!)
I'd offer to help ya "store" stuff but I'm on loweca
