Hi

Sorry for being out of the subject a little maybe.

Im kinda new to the merchant business but my shop is doing pretty well and my customers are growing,

however that is not what im here to say

But ive seen these advertising droids around, and i want to get one myself im not so familiar with droids, and i havent

been able to find one that can do the job yet

Have i just been to the wrong droidshops?

I wouldn't think there's just a huge demand for them so you might need to find a droid engineer and place a special order for one.

After dinner I left it there when I left town (put a fresh battery in, just in case), and was really suprised that it was still there when I came back!

Just after they went live, Doc reported that a protocol droid would stay when you left, but my BLL never did.
Since the "talking" droids couldn't be named, and that is half the advertizing value, I never wanted one of those as a barker.

This seem to be a change for the better, unless it was a fluke.

I actualy can leave the planet and have it stay "in place". If you place your barker in the right spot (which I'll not mention) you never have to recharge it, it's not an exploit persay, just being observant of the things in the area.

There should be only one reason that you wouldn't need to recharge it.....

Hey, thats a great idea. Never thought of that, and will have to try it.

Doc's right there is only one possibility. It is a good explanation for why they are wandering around, besides for decoration.

Do we really need to be so cryptic?

But my BLL used to poof anytime I went back to my shop 1000m away, when did that change?

I assume we're talking about the NPC power droids that wander around.

Well, player power droids are meant to recharge droids... it only stands to reason that the NPC ones could do it too.
