Previously:
1. When listing a new item for sale on a vendor in a city with sales tax, the tax amount was not applied to the price until after server reset.
2. Sales tax went to the city treasury.
Currently:
1. The tax amount now applies instantly, at the time you list the items on the vendor.
2. Sales tax goes to the merchant, not the city treasury. (Still not sure if this bug is hitting all cities or only some.)
Was the sales tax code changedand coincidentally fixed one bug but createdthe new worse one?

Create a new bug by fixing another. Not by SOE. You must surely be mistaken.

I used to be a mayor. We saw Sales tax changes take place within 5 minutes of any adjustment on the city terminal.

Yea..That problem never seemed consistant for everyone. I had one vendor that it took 24 hours for it to start calculating the taxes right but eventually that stopped occuring.
The only cooincidence is that both the features are connected to the re-write of the vendor code that happened a few weeks ago. The assumption is that they just missed reconnecting the sales tax collection back to the city but thats probably a lot more simple an explaination than reality
