Thread: Something is different about the vendors' appearance...

Okay, a few days ago I made a new vendor and in 20-30 tries I had a GORGEOUS human female. She had no makeup, natural auborn ponytail, great body, pretty pretty face.

So I thought maybe lightning had stuck. But then....

I began to place a new vendor last night and I realized...out of the 50 or so vendors I created, only TWO were fat. Almost all of them had coordinating/matching colors as far as their features and clothing. I would say maybe 10-15% were still miscolored but even then they weren't fat! I must have destroyed over 20 totally acceptable attractive human female vendors simply because I was looking for a particular color in makeup or lack of makeup, to coordinate with the outfit I plan to place on her.

I told my friend about it, and she being a master merchant went and created 3 vendors as a test. The first one was the usual mismatched neon colors, but wasn't fat. The second one was all green, makeup and clothes. Not fat. The third one was absolutely gorgeous, with dark (almost black) matched clothing and makeup, lipstick, and hair, and a very pretty face, great body, and great hair.

We were like woah. There is definately something different about the vendors.

Doc?

Are you saying fat isn't beautiful? You rotten kid 'ja! How dare you enforce your neanderthalistic ideals upon us. It's people like you who makenear-perfect-proportioned people feel bad about themselves.

heheh I just thought I was having a run of luck with my vendors. I didn't come across any without those horrible clashing or hideously drab clothes, but I had a great run of making attractive, thin, well-proportioned vendors just a couple of days ago. The clothing really didn't matter, because I have hiring 4....

Fat wouldn't bug me. Completely out of proportional bodies bugs me.

I got a twliek once, in the 4 grind session to get a vendor, that had a head so big it literally look like a mardi gras character.

Hmm very promising.

I would still like the ability to get a vendor that is not dressed as I normaly put new clothes on them right away.. but sometimes the old stuff that was on them (shirts etc... ) interfear with the new stuff... and if they get created with a jacket on I cannot get it off... etc... I would like to see better fuctinality with dressing our vendors....

I have no issues with loosing the clothes that I put on a vendor (well sorrta but not much) but would like the ability to start dressing them from scratch.

You can get unwanted clothing off by giving them something to wear that they can't wear... like wookiee clothes for non wookiees. You get to keep the item, too.

Coincidence...or not?

But I too, recently, was able to create one great looking human male vendor, and 3 great looking human female vendors inno time flat, with just a modicum of yuckies to delete.

Right after Sayhia told me about this, I made three human female vendors. First one turned out great--funky, but great. Color coordinated and everything. I would've happily had her in my shop.

Second one was similarly good--funky looking but coordinated. No yellow lipstick, pink eyebrows, green hair and plaid clothes.

Third one was... Old, fat, yellow lipstick, pink eyebrows. Well, two out of three isn't bad. But it does look like they're tipping the scales a bit these days in favor of coordinated NPCs, which is nice to see. Now if I can just get some Bothans that don't look like strung out junkies who just got swirlies.
