Thread: you are already creating a vendor.

I get this message whenever I try to make a new vendor, has been doing this for over a week. Any help is appreciated.

Do you have a vendor you have placed but not initialized? Or one in your inventory?
You can't create another vendor until you have dropped an initialized the last one you were working on. If this is not the case and you are still getting this message then put in a CS ticked they can reset the flag for you and get you going again.

that sucks. we used to be able to make up to our cap then drop and initialize them. it saves examining each on after you create it to see if it looks decent

I just posted this in todays TC bug thread....
While creating a vendor, you must place the vendor and initialize the vendor before you are able to create a new vendor. If you try to /createvendor, or use the structure radial, while you have a vendor in your inventory, or a placed vendor that is not initalized, you get the system message that states something to the effect of 'You are already creating a vendor.' This makes it extreme difficult to compare the look of different NPC vendors, since you can not create more then one vendor in your inventory at a time.
The game breaking issue about this issue is that if a structure is deleted, with an intialized vendor placed, you can't create an new vendor because of the above listed information. Also, if you lose connection, while in the process of creating a vendor, you will get the same error.
Relogging and server reset do not reset the vendor creation.
