Thread: Question About Vender Limits

I thought items in a backpack didn't count against the limit, like a bag of armor only being one item. When I flip through my vender, it says I have 2 or 3 hundred items. When I look in the vender status, it says around 500. Which one is it?

50 items in a backpack + 1 backpack = 50 items
Empty backpack = 1 item
The vendor "status" shows the true number of items in your vendor.

add to this so the vendor item limit skill says i can have 250 items per vendor. Well i hve 2 vendors 1 with 148 items the other with 118 items and i cant put more itmes on either vendor. is it 250 max items for both vendors or 25o per vendor?

At business 4 you get 2 venders with a total of 250 items. At novice merchant you get 3 venders with a total of 750 items. Even if you just have 1 vender, you can still have up to 750. Are you a novice merchant? If so, you can have 750 divided between those two venders.

The limits applies to TOTAL amount you can sell.
Whether placed on one vendor or twelve.
If you had previously stocked over the limit currently set you will not be able to stock anymore until you go under your approved limit.
(ie you had stock on your vendors before the merchant change was in place)
