As I don't have the time to wade through the 35 pages of responses to the post re: Vendor Fee's can anyone give me a quick update on what's going to happen with vendor fee's?

I would like to know too...I was just having this discussion with someone. Are the NPC vendors still cheap?

If you read around you would find that they are planing to impliment a flat maint. fee with a sales tax.

A flat maintenance/salary fee for each vendor plus a sales tax = winning idea.

The reason the sales tax is a good idea because it helps flatten out the economy. Money that doesn't go back into the economy will actually be a good thing since it's not finite. =/

I just put $10,000 into my vendor and when I checked the "Status" of it, it shows alittle over 1 days time??

Is that right?? It never used to be like that before - does anyone know if this is a bug that just started and will be changing? I can't afford to put in $10K every 2 days - jeez, that's absurd!

Also, what happens to the vendor if I don't pay the maintenance at all? ... just curious....hehe

Any info on any of this would be quite helpful and appreciative...thanks!

Ya i had the same problem with a machine vendor or non npc i way paying like 3k an hour which is crazy so i went to a npc cause currently there maintence is only 1per day which is too cheap i would say but comon for christ sake i pay for harvestors and 3 houses jsut cause i have so many materials for my crafting needs i have to have the space! All my cash goes into maintence and i am not looking forward to paying tons out to a vendor again. I think they should concentrate there concerns FIRST on Fixing them So they Work Properly instead of worrying so much about maintence fee's.
