Here is an idea, i would like to see what you guys think about it. As a master merchant you can place many vendors but you can only register it with one type on the global (as far as I know, I could be wrong).

I would like SOE to gradually add more classifications that you can list your vendor with. (A master having the ability to list one vendor with all classes)

What do you guys think? Can it be done and I just don't know about it? What skill branch do you think this idea would best fall under?

I think it would actually be cooler if Master Merchants could have their own subsection under vendors, with the name of their shop. Such as Bob's Flee Market or whatever, and then when you expand Bob's Flee Market you get a listing of the types of vendors he has arranged in the appropriate catagories. I am sure though that due to database issues something like that would probably never happen, but I guess one can hope...

Thatsuggestion has been batted around a few times, but a downside is that it may allow for an increase in the spamming we currently see (unfortunately there will always be those that engage in that).

Definately, we need a complete overhaul. Changing the user interface where the vendors are displayed on planet map in combo with how vendors/shops are advertised on it. It's current setup is not scalable as more people come on.

The current interface is just too small a space for the size of the functionality and the number of people who do or will use it. Maybe what we need is more of a search based interface thatproduces specific results (less space, and perhaps less loading time)and is able to show more info (vendor/shop descrips to curb spamming in combo with vendor/shop advertising limits).
