Thread: Merchant Ordering Terminals
Actually, on second thought if it wasn't specific to the owners actual skills,an ordering terminal might work. If it allowed the user to "craft" what they wanted and then made the object, but kept it tied to the terminal so it couldn't be removed, but you could see exactly what they wanted. Then the merchant could delete it, when it was no longer needed. You would have to make some sort of "magic" hopper that had all available components, at least a generic version of them, and make sure that it refilled with each use. As long as no one had access to a hopper, it might be able to work like a crafting tool every one can use, and everyone could look in, but no one can access. I take what I said back, Its still an awsome idea and it may not be the amount of work I thought it would be. The programming components may already be in place, and a little creativity on the dev teams part might make it work. And if only merchants could place them then we would have a deffinate advantage. Great idea dang it. I completely withdraw my previous comments. Well not completely, I would like color names and a viewable color pallete in options or something.
Bang up idea!
I like the idea of going to a 'place' and selecting exactly what I want. Great idea. Especially for tailors. If you don't make clothes, you have know idea of the colors/styles available.
Some good ideas on how to prevent this form being exploited too
Good post, thanks Alienmistro

Order Terminal -
Reverse auction. Crafters will bid on how cheap they could make it. All transactions are done on that Vendor. Now to make it profitable to the merchant's... All the Reverse Auction Vendor's are linked (They are required to be either a Terminal or Droid)... the Vendor pays a fixed Maintance fee. But the vendor can also charge for use of the Vendor. Now how do we make it so more people will use wide spread of these vendors... We could always give it a Crafter Admin list. Meaning only these crafters can bid on a project. But then that could cut down on alot of business... So that probably isn't a good idea... How would we make it so people will use differant vendor Reverse Auction Vendors... not sure yet... maybe someone can help with that idea..
