Are NPC Vendors still broken for selling resources?

All reports that I have seen say they are working fine for resources now. I don't have any trouble with them, but I don't sell many resources on my vendors.

I can confirm that the NPC vendors are safe for resources now. However, when splitting stacks of resources, let them sit in your inventory until the mouse-over on the original stack reads the correct amount - just to be safe. For me on Bloodfin, this can take anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes.

After losing a half a million resources to this bug and SOE's penchant for bringing back old bugs.. I have great trepidations about ever trying it again.

I was hesitant myself, but with many MANY customers over two weeks, I haven't had a single complaint. I'd say they are nowas reliable as anything else in this game.

Sir, it's quite possible that this game is not entirely stable.

"Not entirely stable." Well, I'm glad you're here to tell us these things. Chewie! Take the professor in the back and plug him into the patch server!

Does closing and then reopening your inventory work the same way?

I sell power on eclipse. I FREQUENTLY split stacks of 100k into smaller stacks and immediately transfer them to the vendor. I have experienced no problems with selling off of NPC vendors now. (maintainence is like 1 cr/day)

If you sell off of terminal vendors, expecrt exorbitant maintenance fees... I was paying 5k day/maint before they fixed the resource bug, which meant that i could only sell on terminal vendors at the time because the NPC's were to dumb to count how much stock they gave a buyer.

If you right click or examine on the 'mother' item you can see the amount change from the original amount to the corrected amount. Once you have done this the mouse-over amount is corrected as well.

However, with the bulk of resources that I sell, I can't depend on any work-around. I use a travel-terminal and while it charges me a ton I haven't had any real issues with it.

Except..of course..it ejectsunsold itemsevery 7 days...

I've been selling resources from NPC vendors for a while with no issues.

I've sold over 1 million resources in the last 2 weeks. All in chunks of 20k, split down from 100k chunks. I've never waited 5-20 minutes or anything like that. I haven't had any customer complaints yet, and with them spending 50k per purchase minimum, I would think they would scream if they had problems. So I suspect that everything is working fine with NPC vendor resource sales.
