Yes you do. It is a known bug. It is second on my list after the 7 day issue.

Neither. It's a bug and I think it's the consensus of the board here that its the highest priority to be fixed. I log in every day before work to turn it on and have delayed putting up shops offworld since I would not be able to keep them advertised.

Consider yourself lucky. I tried watching the server statuses the last couple mornings and I estimate that my server comes online about 5-10 minutes after I have to leave to catch my bus for work. Sigh.

I have it especially bad, since I log on kinda late (CST). Servers go down here at about 0600 hours CST, so that gives me precious little time to advertise. Weekends, of course, are a different story.
