when you have items in the stockroom, can you pickup said vendor and move it to a new location, drop it, and all items still be inside? (for ease of moving sake)

no
you cannot pick up a vendor to any degree once you have intialized it
{NPCs can be pickup up before initialization, terminals cannot}
