Creating a new thread so that bug reports can all be sorted by version.


The Merchant's Friend has a bug-fix version available for download at http://www.geocities.com/illiya_darklight/


Back-up your archives before installing the new version just to be safe. Nothing should happen, but you never know.


This version fixes the following:


* Two Crash Bugs - One involving Purchases, one involving Subject Lines.

* Crash Bug that had to do with European users and the dates.

* Two glitches in the 'My Purchases' tab that caused for some wonky displays.


Thank you all for your continuous support, and the great bug e-mails and posts. This is just a bug-fix release, and I'll have a new features release soon (tm). Please continue to let me know if you have any issues and/or any suggestions for features.

after a quick play this is what i noticed.


When i access the customers tab and pull up my 2004 archives, i can sort the customers to list by visits on the metrics screen. I have 3 with two visits and 1 with three. COOL! so now i go to the customers tab and play with the "Customer List by Customer Rating" asking it to pull through everything from 2 - 5 visits.


it finds 2 customers.


it should find 4

Ran to SWGCraft.com and put up a message, and Shayughul kinly offered to put the zip up on his site for easy download. You can get it here: http://www.lundmarks.net/mfriend.zip.


I should have my own /real/ website up in about a week or so. The Geocities site is just temporary.

Oh yeah, and Tira -- I'll be looking into that problem. That's not too surprising. I had some issues trying to get that to run correctly, and I thought I'd snagged all of the issues, but clearly I'm mistaken!

Hmmm V.10 worked fine so I downloaded V.11 but now it doesn't I get the error "String was not recognised as a valid Date Time". When I click "continue" no data is displayed. With V.10 I also got an error but when I clicked continue the data was there.


BTW thank you fora great program!

I had that issue myself, I uninstalled both versions (since two were now installed) reinstalled and it worked. Was sort of strange.


How's the progress on the HTML output option?

I just want to give a great big shout out and hug to Illiya for writing this program in the first place, and then taking the time to update it and help resolve problems so efficiently. It really makes life MUCH easier and I can't wait for the feature release!
