galaxies hasnt allowed me to startup for 7 days now, and i had a vendor placed with only 3 days of maitenence, considering i havnt been able to log on, will my vendor disapear, because i had several rare items....that well, will throw me in the crapper if i loose um....does the vendor save your items or just take um?

You should be safe for some time yet. I do not think a vendor will ever disappear if it runs out of maintains, however the stuff you have for sale will drop the stock room after 30 days, and get deleted after another 7.

i had this same thing happen to me
it turned out to be to do with the patch and my firewall program .
basically after each patch i could not connect .turned out i needed to re authorise the swg files in my firewall program , as they had changed from the allowed version i had previously authorised for internet access ,and so were blocked .
so its a longshot but worth checking 
)
