Thread: Can we get uniforms and items back from vendors if we need to destroy them?

I might have to move my shop and three out of four of my vendors are wearingfull compositeand holding weapons. The composite is just a mish-mash of old junky composite(whole suits though)that doesnt have much usefulness to actually wear but it still looks good. So my question is how can i recover those uniforms from my Vendors, becuase there is no way in hell i want to have to buy three full sets of armor for my vendors to wear. Thanks for the help

There is no way to retrieve any item you give the vendor..even if they don't wear it (Because it isn't wearable by that species).

is there anyway to get it off vendor other than placing a new item on it? As in a vendor wearing a helmet but you no longer wish them to. The only way I can see is just placing a new hat on them(which isn't wanted)or destroying the vendor

You might try putting something on them that doesn't fit. Like maybe a twi'lek (sp?) headdress or wookie hat of some kind. 
I'm not an expert on this but one time when I put a "smock" on a woman she said that it doesn't fit and then she was naked. Worth a try.

This bug was fixed in publish 5.
You can get rid of an item by giving the vendor another item that would occupy the same slot, but deleted an item entirely from a slot is tricky.
