I don't think so, what I have done is to drop/create new. But maybe there is a hidden function somewhere to do this. I really would like to rename one of my vendors but don't want to relist 1000 items

Sad is that even before initializing the vendor, I can't seem to move them around w/o removing them and crating a new one if I happened to drop it accidently in a wrong area.

I was afraid it was so. Maybe we can get some improvements in the future and not just nerfs.

This is a dang fine idea. I just had one craftsperson leave my shop and have another coming in. I've got 5 twileks in a row all lined up and dressed uniquely down to jewlery. Took several hours to create it (anyone else think that it takes longer to get the vendor you want at master merchant than at novice? I swear lol)

I've asked about this but apparently it isn't something that is easy to accomplish. Certain items in game can be renamed after they are created (backpacks) but most items can't be renamed. The vendors are in the latter category.

The reason it takes longer is because there are more variations. So you have to keep re-creating the vendor over and over until you get the look that is acceptable to you.

Thanks for asking Doc...what about moving vendors?
And yeah, I know there are more options at master level, but I just find it ironic
I think I read, maybe in ID revamp, that ID will be able to customize vendors in the future...that would be nice.

They have gone to great pains to prevent us from moving the vendors. I suspect that the location is vital to linking the vendor into the database but I'm not exactly clear how. In any event the vendors must remain locked into a specific position. This also means that mobile vendors (droids) are not an easy thing to implement.
