We should have a new building type called "MALL". So we could setup a shopping mall type system. Implement sales tax, rent fee, etc at the building level. Any thought.

I like the mall idea. I would also like a smaller "Boutique" version. Both or either would be awesome!

There is no point to a petition on this subject. I have already given the devs that request and intend to include it on our quarterly issues list (though I don't know if it will be in the top 5)

This would just be a means to bypass people needing the merchant skill. Right?

Personally I would call it a tool to reduce the merchants work. Many of us are already doing consignment sales, getting to code it to make it easier for the merchant and the supplier would be a huge help.
