Thread: CITY MARKETS ---- Why does no one use them?

To their credit, the Devs have done a good done with the city market space. The new Bestine Market is really nice....
If you havent seen it, it has several open tents and stalls.....
It is the perfect space to sale your wares in town and for people to congregate and could be a very vibrant place....but no one ever leaves the star port entrance.
Should we as merchants make an effort to support this area?

I think so. A group on Starsider started (today) to hold weekly "Live merchant bazaars" once a week where merchants and crafters will show up with wares to sell and resources to craft custom orders and they are trying to generate a real atmosphere with the event. I didn't manage to get out there today but I am going to try to go next week.

I'll support that idea, whatever it takes to get the shouters and afk ad spammers from cluttering the coronet star port.

No. These "City Markets" are just areas designed for you to gather and sell things person to person. There is no xp to be made at them they are for the purpose of role playing and making credits.
