That's pretty much my attitude as well. I didn't even want to log in last night because I was so angry about all of this.
This morning I decided to completely shut down my business until further notice so I can try to get back some of the capitol I've put into my shop. It will kill my current business and hit me incredibly hard, but I'd rather that than have to take it at a serious loss when the publish goes live and there are discounted items all over the place. At least for a short time. Then all the prices will skyrocket. So much for a stable economy.

Me too.
It's just a game, but I've become emotionally attached to what I've accomplished in it and it hurts when something like this happens.
Lately it's been hard to log on and do more than some simple work to maintain my infrastructure.
I feel like they've just stuck a knife (with a DOT) in my heart.
ATTENTION DEVELOPERS: We're tired of you ruining the game that we love!
It's time to take a stand and show the development staff that their priorities are out of order.
My proposal for acceptable item limits is here.

That's EXACTLY how I feel. This announcement (as it will kill my business without some serious leeway with the item cap) hits me just as hard as if they had said "We decided that player cities are too hard on the databases so we're deleting all the city halls."
It takes the same kind of hard work and devotion to build a successful business as it does a successful city.

We all know the squeeky wheel gets the oil.
With that said it is not by accident that these changes were tossed out LATE friday night and we are left to stew on it all weekend with no answers from DEV's...
They figure we will stew on it and calm down by monday. I for one am just getting more ticked off each passing hour with no DEV response on this junk nerf...
I plan on replying to any and ever post in this forum to make sure that the devs see how many threads/replies this nerf on TC has created and you should too...
I would not put it past the DEV's to put out a unrealistic number in order to counter with the number they really had in mind so that we feel like we are making out like winners either...That happens in business all the time.

I used to be a master CH...after two nerfs I could not take it anymore and dropped it
I miss my creatures.
