I'm a Master Armorsmith/merchant/artisan and I personally don't think this is really going to hurt me. First of all, if I just sell one suit of composite on my vendor every day I would still make more than enough money to keep my operation going. But, I stock and sell more than that. I even still keep mabari armor on my vendor. Why? Because, believe it or not my profit margin is the same on all the armor that I sell. Yes, if I sell 10 suits of composite I will make more money than I do if I sell 10 suits of Mabari. But, I also use far less materials to craft a suit of Mabari armor.

I guess my point is... "How much money is enough?" I have no need to make millions of credits per day. A heavy harvester costs a couple thousand credits per day to operate. So, even if I have 8 of them placed, it only costs me about 16 thousand credits. lol. My biggest cost is bone and hide. Let's let some of the other crafters have some business as well.

Omg... I've been reading many of the other threads and had no clue which one to post on so I came back to mine. I've seen several people claiming that they can no longer do a thousand unit run on items they sell. They can no longer be a master architect/armorsmith at the same time. They can no longer supply their entire server with their items... Has anyone considered the fact that this is exactly what the dev's wanted to stop? They don't want one or two crafter's supplying the entire server with clothing. They want many crafters to have their own shops. They want the crafters who enjoy being a crafter to fill the role of a shop keeper. There are people who do this now.

As a master armorsmith I sometimes make large quantities of money in a short time. When I have lot's of money I pay up the maintenance on all of my vendors and buildings. I buy stuff for friends and new people. I sometimes take a break from crafting and play a different character who've I've pretty much financed... What more do people want? How many millions of credits is enough. Why not just make enough money to keep yourself fat and lazy and let some other crafters make some too. lol
