Greetings felow galactic citizens,
I see all of those signs around the galaxy that are in color and was wondering if anyone can tell me how to do that and if you can make them more than one line?
Thank You

color is used with \#ff00ff [text here] (or whatever color code you want, if its not \ then its / forget which)
more than 1 line is simple. set up copy/paste buttons in the keymap in the ctrl+o menu. then /notepad and write down you store sign on multiple lines, then copy and paste into the sign name menu.

It's done using HTML. Centering lines, etc. can by done by using /notepad and cut and paste. You'll have to go into options to set up cut and paste in the keymap.

Hi all - I've read lots of threads like this on lots of SWG sites - they all say basically the same thing as you guys have here...However...
For some reason in my version of the game I cannot type the ' \ ' character at all - I dunno why it just won't respond in-game but works fine outside of SWG. I found a way round this though, so if you have the same problem (it may be a British version idiosyncracy) do the following...
Run SWGopen the options screen (Ctr-O) set keymaps forchatcopy and paste.
ALT TAB out of SWG and open up a text program and type \#000000 and copy it to clipboard.
ALT TAB back to SWG and open your personal notepad (/note)
Press the key binding for 'paste' and you should have it ready to be copy and pasted when ever you need it.
I know its quite a long way round to get a single keystoke but it works. If anyone knows a better way to combat the same problem please post!
