Thread: Selecting Merchant Skills

Evening all,


Currently I am slowly but surely turning into a crafter from a fighter, but I am having difficulty in deciding what skill boxes to take in Merchant. I am planning on being a Master Artisan and having Master in two other elite crafting professions, which leaves me with 47 skill points left over. So far I've taken Advertising III to get the Planetary Ad stuff, but what else should I take?


Given the recent changes to Vendors and the like what would be best or most useful combination of skills. Efficiency for lower costs (mainly on structures)? More Vendors (always useful, but really how many do you need over 3 you get for Novice Merchant)? Hiring tree for different types of Vendors? I don't know...


Can anyone here give me some advice?

It depends on what you wand to do. If you wand merchants tent to work out of, you need efficiency 4. If you wand NPC vendors in uniform it is hireling 4, if you wand to have the largest amount of stuff for sale it is management 4 and efficiency 4. Find out witch of the merchants skills you need to run the business and then se what you have left.
