Thread: Seven days in the stockroom???

I just had a few items fall into the stockroom on one of my vendors. The items list the time remaining on them as less than seven days. I know that I read release notes that said the time items stayed in the stockroom was increased to 30 days just a few patches ago.
Isthe time remaining displayedaccurate? So which is it, seven days or thirty days? Does anyone really know?
I am both confused and alarmed by this development.

Thats a good question. I haven't seen any report that hey changed it back, though there never really was a good reason for extending it (from their point of view) it might have been temporary while they worked on the bugs that were preventing people from putting things up for sale but if so they never informed us of that.

Could you please ask for a clarification on this Doc?
I think most of us saw the release notes about a 30 day stockroom period and thought that this was a good thing. People do take two week vacations and a seven day stockroom seems awfully short. We were told that it was changed to 30 days, we have not been told that it was changed back to 7.

I've seen this as well Doc.
This is what I've experienced.
If you withdraw the sale and it goes to the stockroom. The average time you get is 30 days.
If it falls on its on then it is 7 days it seems.
I think it a coding problem not necessarily their intention.

May have something to do with when the item was originally put to sale. It's my guess that there's a concurrent timer that switches all items from "For Sale" to "Stock Room."
If the item was placed for sale either before the change, or in the small interm where the change was temporarily reverted, it might still only get the 7day stockroom time. Not 100% sure ont hat though.
I just noticed some varied times on some of my items and saw a corelation within when they were initially put up for sale and the differences.

Noticed this today as well with a bunch of my items that fell off, yet I relisted some last week with 26 days left on them. Hope it stays at 30 and it's just a mistake.

I saw it last night.
Had some 7-day stuff right alongside some 30-day (minus a few days already) stuff.

I experience this last night. Not sure why the duration is so short. I believe those items in my stock room are items that expire.
Is this a new changes to the stock room again.

I can confirm this also. Previously, there was a short window where my stuff that fell into the stockroom had 30-, but over this weekedn several things fell into it with 7- days. This is on Chilastra.

Same here. I relocated to a mall one month ago. I knew I was going to be flooded at rollover since I did a marathon stocking session the day I moved in.
All my stock (3000+ across 6 vendors) rolled over to stockroom earlier this week. Rollover items were dated 7 days, items I withdraw are dated 30-ish. Items that had rolledinto the stockroom before the last patch had 30 day timers.

i can confirm this. items i placed for sale 30 days ago dropped to the stockroom with a 7 day timer. this was on a new (after merchant changes) vendor.

Ok, update on this...
I logged in this morning and MANY things had finally fallen into the stockroom (not gonna be a fun day).
Everything that fell in on its own is ticking down for 7 days.
However, I mis-pricedan itemand had to withdraw the sale to correct it.
THIS item came into the stockroom with 37 days on its timer.
