Thread: never mind, I guess this is what you call serious lag for the vendor to update.

I was managing my vendors today and recieved a notice that I could not put anything up for sale due to vendor maintenance.
I paid enough maintenance to provide 100+ days and repair the vedor.
The vendor did not repair, and I still cannot put any new items for sale on it?
I have reported the bug, can anyone else verify this problem?
Is this a known problem? Is their a work around?
DISREGARD = THE VENDOR STATUS UPDATED CORRECTLYAFTER ABOUT A 20M

Unlike houses, vendors will only update when their maintenance cycle hits.
I'm pretty sure this happens once per hour but I have never had a chance to put a stopwatch on it.
Once I get sufficiently established on TC, I plan to test all of these little 'game mechanic' things and verify exactly what happens and how often. Unfortunately it's not something that I can afford to do with my Live character.
Now if I could just find a house deed somewhere on TC so I could put up a vendor or two...

You can use my retirement villa if you promise not to "girl it all up"

Pfft... I've never been one for decorating. It takes away valuable storage space!
Although, with the new item limit increases on their way I suppose some sort of candles and greenery would brighten up the atmosphere of my warehouse.

Well if you consider resources stacked to the ceiling and OMU's crammed into every corner to be "decorated" then I'm very good at it.
I do like to keep the different colors of ore together and they make excellent partitions to separate the different structure components.
It's really sort of of a "warehouse feng shui" kinda thing.

I have some warehouses with only backpacks in them for storage. My main crafting headquarters ends up having odds and ends in it. Its got a little sititng room and bedroom along with all the crafting stations and my resource packs.

Well, I guess my office in my Corporate HQ counts as decorated since there's a desk and chairs and artwork and such.
Unfortunately I ran out of space and never got the "reception area" finished.
Soon I'll be able to cram 25 more things in there and maybe I'll finish it up.

I have had that problem before, but after a few hours it was ok. I think that the vendor doesnt update to the "repaired" status until the next time the maint cycle clicks over (once per hourI think). Hope this helps.
