Hi guys and gals. I am almost close to getting Merchant but I have a few questions first.

1) How is Merchant XP gained? I see that I must have 5000 before I can become Novice Merchant. Must I have a shop and a vendor and make sells to gain that xp?

2) How do I get a vendor? Do they just appear out of nowhere? Also, how much do they cost to maintain?

3) I hear about this profession being extremely bugged. Is it really that bad? If so, what should I not do in order to have a smooth running business?

Thank you and I hope I get some replies soon.

1. You get merchant exp at the rate of about 150 exp an hour by having a vendor in your shop. There may be ways of increasing the rate of exp (other than having multiple vendors) but I do not know.

2. You have to have a house. On the house radial menu you bring up create vendor, go through a couple choices of what kind you want, and it plops into your inventory. You can then drop it anywhere in the house you want. Very very very very very little to maintain. Did I mention it costs very little to maintain?

3. I have encountered no bugs, my vendor runs just fine.
