I'm toying with the idea of a Holonet news-style web site for in-character galactic news. All RP, all Bria, it would track events, happenings and the market in your realm.

There are issues to iron out.

Among them I need some motivation for other players to help me bring in news, and since this would be an in-character endeavour I'm considering in-character compensation.I'm extremely po' and as an bartender can't really provide the capitol.

There's another concept of publication that might help us both here - advertising revenues.For a set sum probably on a weekly or monthly basis I could get some advertisements for your shop or venue onto the site.I have some other ideas on how to raise funds but advertising would be the primary (or at least initial) source of cash flow.

I have no numbers yet, the idea is so new I have neither a web address nor any names to help me. I'm polling to see if merchants would be willing to support this Holonet site as a resource for information and role-playing. In short:

As a merchant would you be willing to pay credits for advertising space in a galactic Holonet?

I've tried a few newsflash posts on the Bria board and, as news articles, they're getting fair feedback - I think this site could really contribute something to the game.

I sell any resouces I can get my hands on. Mostly Steel, Iron, Fiberplast, Organics resources, and liquid Petrochems. Hope This gets me some more biz. O yeah Iundercut bazaar prices, nothing sells for more then 4$ a unit. Most less then that. Its worth the run.

haha sorry I typed that last msg in the wrong window. oops. Idgladly pay a decent amount of money to get word out about my store. Any new advertising vehicle would be great. right now its all cutomers referring customers and running around yelling. Msg me in game at Ackib to explain to me the details.
