same prob went away in a few days

I got a vendor, didn't like it so I removed it and got another one. After placing it and finding that it couldn't be initialized I go to get a third... Now here's where the problem is: it says it couldn't create the vendor because I'm out of inventory space. I have 42/60 in inventory. I cannot pick anything up, I cannot sample materials I already have or new ones. So is my character just screwed now? I make droids and I can no longer sample or build anything. How can I fix this?
