I recall people saying that you could use the resource-split bug on vendors in houses to steal resources. Is that still the case, or can you sell resources now out of vendors safely?

I believe I lost 70,000 units of Omni last night. It shows up in my stockroom but I am unable to retrieve it.

But do you think that's because someone split the resource stack of Omni you had on the vendor? Or is this just because a resource expired?
