I dropped Merchant during a Respec, figuring I could remove my items before they fell off the stockroom. I still can of course, but wanted to warnother of this very aggravating bug. The CSRs don't care and will not help you if it happens - go figure.
If you multi-Retrieve Items from your stockroom as you always were able to do, MAKE SURE you have room in your inventory for every item. If you do not have room they WILL NOT go back into the stockroom as a 'Restored Item' as it alwys did before. Instead they just disappear. You don't even get a warning or system note that you don't have room in your invetory - just POOF. I lost about 2mil units of resources beofre I realized this was happening - their total value was in the 10-12million credit range.
I assume this is due to the fact I have more vendors thanI can mamange so I can't relist items - I'm fine with not being able to relist my items. I am, in fact, emptying my vendors. But to destroy my items while I try to do it, thats pure harrasment in my book.
I didn't bother to bug it, but if anyone wants to test and document it - feel free. If you have 12 vendors, just drop M Merchant for an hour - fill your invetory up to 79 items and retrieve 5 near worthless items off your vendor - you'll only get one, the rest will disappear. I've given up on /bug tho, as it seems like nothing I bug ever gets changed or fixed anymore.
