I went through a few pages of posts but haven't seen anything on this. As many of you know, we can no longer admin other toons on our buildings. We know it's not really a bug, seriously now. With that said, how are all the malls and such operating? I know there are folks out there who have vendors in their structures that aren't theirs. What's the workaround here?
I want to hold my structure on my main since I need easy access but I have a second account with a few boxes of merchant to place vendors. Is there no proven way to allow him to place his vendors in my main's house? Thanks.

I'm guessing I was not one of the many who knew this since I've had no trouble with it lately.

There was a bug introduced some time ago that caused it briefly but I believe that was fixed before it got off TC.

What she said G
I myself just adminned a few folks a couple days ago at my complex for them to rest within house safely.
Surprised to see this even come upat all since it was, well, months ago that it appeared on TC like it did.

Sorry, not sure what you are talking about. I've been admin'ing other people on my structures for the last three days with no problems...

Apologies. I misspoke. When I first had this bug a few weeks back I found a couple other instances of it on the boards as well so I thought it was widespread. Now that I realize it isn't and that I can fix it with a redeeding, I'm ok.

The only way to correct this bug is to redeed the building. I am a mayor of a city, and the transferstructure command is what creates this bug. People cant be placed on admin of a transfered structure. I'm glad I found out about this before trying to transfer my fully decorated mall to an alt.

I have transferred and set permissions on 3 buildings in the past two days without problems.
Perhaps the problem is tied to being mayor?

The bug isnt a few weeks old, it has been occuring randomly for several months now. It might have to do with being a mayor, as none of my other girls have had any problems with it, only my mayor character. I would suggest redeeding anything that has this bug though, so that they dont poof.
The Devs are aware of the problem, as well as the problem with taxes, but they do not seem inclined to fix them anytime soon.

I'm a mayor and use, well, usedthe /transferstructure command quite frequently. The bug is a couple weeks old, I'm not sure it is only happening to mayors but obviously mayor are using the /transferstructure often. Not every /transferstructure is affected, sometimes it goes well but sometimes the mystery bug hits and you can't add new admins. I also heard accounts from fellow mayors that those structure poofed out of nowhere - so I'd suggest to redeed and replace the affected structures asap.
