Ok this is getting ridiculous, its been 3 days and i have tons of mobs around my factories and harvesters I can't get to a single factory or harvester. I had a level 80 rifleman clear one nest but it kept spawning so many mobs that it took him 30 mins to kill them all and they were only level 21 wamp rats. Now i have level 81 Lizards nest out there and that will take a group folks to clear. I am LOSING MONEY because I cant craft or harvest. Why cant the devs offer crafters armor vehicles or shields so we can play instead of having to hide in our homes.

Know one should be totally self sufficient. You buy services from combaters (like clearing nests) and they buy goods from you.

Or you could go imperial and get an AT-ST

And while my main chr is a ranger who is capable of defending him self, my alt is a merchant/tailor/ID.

Or we could get an actual speederbike.

You know, extremely fast with a spinal mounted weapon on it.

I think their solution is in publish 17 which allows non Rangers to wear Ranger crafted cammo kits to avoid detection by creatures.

Or they could give Crafters and merchants same increase in CL as other proffesions, gaining more health, but no combat skills ?

If non ranger applied camouflage has even half the bugs of ranger applied camouflage , it will not be reliable enough for getting to factories and harvesters.

Well I became a CH so I could have extra protection when visiting my harvesters. Mostly now though (since DEC 2003) I just move in fast or quietly and try to not be noticed till I am done. Bit scary at times and if you have a lot of MOBs that aggro around your harvesters it is going to be tough.

Oh after the CU my lvl is now 66 so I don't worry much about pests around my harvesters any more

If it only has 1/3 the bugs will it be good to go?

FWIW, it seems like lairs spawn a LOT more MOBs if your level is way above the creatures you are attacking. I had some GSPs outside my factories, so I logged in with my alt to clear them. I killed a bunch, but it seemed 2 spawned for every one I killed. Eventually they overwhelmed me even though I was 40 levels above them. Bottom line - if you hire someone to clear a nest, make sure they are close to the lair level.

I've actually been surprised that I haven't been camped. But my experience is that it hasn't been a problem. But I am a CL 21, so I may not have the same experience as you. Buy a probot and send it out to get killed while you service your factories. MOBs will always attack the highest level thing, so they should leave you alone.

Depends on witch 1/3
Nevertheless, do not se it as a magically solution to all your problems, while I was a master ranger I used mask scent far more often the camo.
