Thread: Vendor Storage Question

Hi all. Currently I'm a Master Artisan, 3-1-2-3 Armorsmith, and 3-2-2-2 Merchant.

I own two small houses outside of Bestine on Tatooine, Bria. I would upgrade to a medium, but the location is so primo that I don't want to move. My shop and my workshop are next door to each other, only 30 seconds NW of Bestine.

I began running into a storage problem. My workshop (with its 75 item limit) was filling up with resources, stations, decorations, etc, and my shop was filling up due to the "mannequin" type displays of armor I set up. As a result, I got the bright idea to put a "storage" vendor in my workshop - basically, store items in it. For special resources, I'd enter the sale price at 11111111, Crates of segments or tailor products 22222222, so on and so forth. The result: great orginazation and tons of extra storage.

I placed the vendor right next to my crafting station, so i could access it while sitting and crafting. I've been really happy with the setup.

However, I now hear that vendor items are up for a limited time only, then they're moved to your "stockroom" for 72 hours, then disappear? I've never known about this despite my 3-2-2-2 Merchant ranking - whatever I put up for sale usually sells quickly b/c I figure more turnover is better than a vendor full of overpriced crud.

So is it true? Should I be extrememly careful with my new "storage" vendor idea? Thanks for the feedback.

Small houses (except the Naboo round house and Merchant Tents) should have an item limit of 150. Oddly enough, Medium houses have the same limit. It's all based on the number of lots a house takes.

Sales used to stay on vendors for 7 days only. This was recently changed to 30 days... and had several bugs involved with that.
