Is there anyway to sell resources at my house without having a merchant skill? Thanks in advance.

You could get business 3, but other than that, no.

You get a vendor, or stand their yourself barking at people as they pass

"When Sony and Lucas set out, we said, How can we do this and not make another EQ? We didn't want it to be all about Luke, or combat, or lock our players into a class. So we created a system that would allow players to switch professions during the game, and there would be a lot of gameplay around making that change. If you want to go from architect to scout we've created a system to make that happen."

Pay a merchant to set up a vendor in your house and pay him to sell your product for you. The merchant would have to do all stockign and sales and pay you for sold items. I do this in my city. People offer up items to vendors I have placed and I purchase them at their asking price, then sell them at the same price or with a small markup. That way I do not have to track sales and /tip people all the time. It works almost like a bazaar terminal except I am funding it

Rather than worrying about the merchant remembering to pay you, you could try working a deal where you offer up the items to the merchant's vendor, and the merchant then immediately purchases the items and offers them to the public for a markup. This can be a shortcut way of handling things, since the vendor items can be managed from anywhere that particular merchant has a vendor, so they only really need to make the trip for initial vendor placement, and then for paying maintenance.

Just work out a wholesale agreement with an active merchant. You sell so many crates per week to her, and she sells your items at retail prices on her vendors.

  • You get guaranteed bulk sales without having to spend your skill points on the Business tree, or having to fuss with customer tells, keeping vendors stocked, constant e-mail spam, vendor maintenance fees, advertising, spamming in the starports, etc.

  • She gets a guaranteed supply of wares to sell on her vendors, and a wider variety of products to seel than she alone could offer, increasing her traffic and sales.
