Don't know if anyone else has experienced this but it happened to me for the first time today. I put 4 bags containing harvesters on my vendor. Someone came along and bought 2 of them. He then told me that they had disappeared. I withdrew the other 2 bags to check them for the items, and they disappeared as well when i was retrieving them. I got the message: This item cannot be retrieved because it no longer exists. That's 10 Heavy Minerals gone. I then tried to retrieve another item and it worked fine (this item was not in a bag). I thought that the issue with items disappearing on the vendor had been fixed. Maybe there is a new bug making containers disappear from vendor??? Just thought I should let you all know so we can try and avoid it happening to anyone else. I put in a CSR... have no idea how long thats gonna take to get a reply. Does not seem to be the same as the disappearing items after 14 days problem. Hopefully they havent removed that one and made a new one.

Tell the buyer to relog and he shuold find it in his inventory. I had the same problem.

hmm, thanks Davse, will try that, I used a lot of time/effort/resources to make the order, it's the prelude to a hopefully large future order, so I would hate to see it all screwed up because of a bug.

I hope it will work, but I am dubious as after I had tried to retrieve the other bags myself and lost them I tried logging to see if I got them back. Nope, not on vendor, not in stockroom, not in inventory, so I have lost at least 6 heavy minerals. Maybe they will turn up in a day or two, but I won't hold my breath.

I heard that CSR are restoring the resources only for lost manufactured goods, but what use is that ? I still have to make them, and that gives risk of critical fail on experimenting which could lose effectively 1 harvester (or more if I am unlucky) plus I use up the resources for 1 when I make a schematic, so I have a good chance of being down 2 Heavies.

This is actually probably the oldest vendor bug and dates back to beta. Don't sell bags with stuff in them on your vendor. Those items are gone forever. Even with the new patch that brought back items that were lost on vendors, they still couldn't bring back the stuff that was lost on vendors because they were in bags. Just take it as a lesson and never do it again. Sorry you wasted all your money but that is what you did.

I have a new bug as well, wondering if anyone else is experiencing this:

Since the restoration patch, I can access my vendors, place items for sale and people can acceess to buy items, however, I can not access the status or pay maintence on my vendor, it keeps telling me I can't see the object?? I have placed a ticket, but just got the auto FAQ response. I am not sure when my maintenance will run out I am hoping it will be long enough to get a response. I really dont want to have to replace them yet again, this will be the third time something buggy has happened causing me to replace me vendor.

I had something similar happen, but I am still missing an item. Player offered an item to me on my vendor. I purchased it. I retrieved it. It didn't show up in my inventory. I relogged, he relogged, I waited for server restart. I logged in today. He logged in today. Still the item remains vanished.
