Thread: Should I move my shop or stay?
I need some advice. I have a shop that is starting to do well. However, my shop is in a city that most people would not visit except for shopping. I am located next to a mall that has been around for ages. THis mall is very popular and I benfit from drawing some of their customers to my shop. The mall is now moving and I have been invited to also move my vendors to a newly created player city.
My problem is should I stay where I am and hope to become well known in my location even thought the major mall that my shop is next to is now moving and taking their customers with them? or should I move to the player city and start a new business there while the city is still growing?
Can't seem to make up my mind over this one.![]()
I was actually faced with a similar problem. I had lived in the same spot since I was able to place a house which was some time back in July and I had my shop there. I had many regular customers that visited my shop there. However, with the update of Player Cities I decided to move.I moved because I liked the people in that town and wanted to help bring business to this town. I also realized that with a shuttle port in the town that it would be a lot quicker for my customers to actually get to my shop. Now instead of flying to Coronet and then running 1500 meters away to my shop they can now take the shuttle to Fide Mea and my shop is 5 meters behind the shuttle port.
Being a merchant in a player city will be a great adventure.
I had the same choice to make, and I went with post #2's advice. I kept my original shoppe intact and started another vendor in the player city I moved to. Well the end of the story is I am pretty much making twice as much money, so a very happy ending.
