Thread: So why not sell on consignment?

In real life there are many stores that sell on consignment.
Half the money goes to the items owner, and half the the seller.
Simply by "making an offer to a vendor" you can put an item up for consignment.
If the item's owner want to retrieve the item at any time, they can.
If the merchant wants to remove an item at any time, they can (and filter incoming items by price/person/type... ie: this vendor only sells spice, but not from "Tom", he's a jerk)
When a sale occurs, half the money goes to Merchant, half to the item's placer.
Merchant would sort of be like the city bazaar, with no price or item cap..... and a MUCH higher price for listing an item.

We have an idea simular to this on our Top 5 responses. It would take the existing offers screen and add some things to it to make consignment sales easier to participate in.
