Am I still going to get my XP even though the server is down? I'd hate to lose the 5+ hours, but I am actually interested so I can help calculate when I should have enough XP to train.

I've never tested it but generally the rule is no..you don't get any xp from the down time. It is a "black hole" from which nothing escapes

Doc is correct, no xp when the server is down. So a day is not 24hrs.

That is supposed to mean you don't pay maintenance during that time either but the maintenance on vendors has been known to be a bit flakey after a server reset.
