HI,

Im BE (3,2,4,3) and each time i try to make deal with merchants (on Gorath) , they say :

sorry, only sell top of the line stuff...

But my pets are good ones.. maybe not for master CH but really good for non Master CH

I was Offering Pets Like CL19-24 around 8KHAM good resist (30-40 Kinetic)and nice damage(120-140)

So, whats the problem.. i was asking 20k each....I saw pets like that in vendor at 40-60K

I dont understand why i cant find a merchant who is interested in my product...

Is it normal..?

First of all you have to understand that many merchants who are established are either only selling their own stuff or they are selling under an arrangement with someone else and either don't have the time or the desire to expand. Second they just might not realize the potential.

Try finding someone who is just starting at merchant and offering them a really good deal on the pets and helping the market them. (By not selling directly to customers but directing them to the vendor of the merchant you are dealing with)

If you find someone hungry for merchandise and work with them you might build an empire together.

This topic frustrates me of course because we, as merchants, shouldn't be running away business that is trying to deliver itself to us. We should be embracing it. I hope you can find someone who will be happy to help you get things going. You might start by telling him the prices that you are seing these items for and the prices you are willing to sell to him and let him do the math. You might also offer him a few samples for a very small amount with the promise that he will give you a large portion of the sale price once they sell. This gives him less of a reason to say no (almost no risk) and gives you the possibility of a future market.

Changing your product is fine too but if there is a market for pets (and there should be a market for Banthas and Cu Pa's especially right now) you should be able to find a merchant to sell them.

From what I hear there are issues with the BE tissues market too. I think sometimes merchants don't know how to market these things and thus shy away from them becuase they aren't as easy to move as say a flamethrower.

then the merchants realy need to network more learn what products they nedd and at what stats . to be an effective merchant you need to know your customer base and what quality they expect and deserve.

I agree. I suspect the devs assumed that is what would happen with the Trade Forums but it isn't what goes on there. There isn't any great resource I know of for merchants to trade information and find components they need or don't feel like manufacturing themsevles.

Your pets sounds like good ones. I'm not a expert on BE pets, so here is my question. Were the Master BE pets able to have better attributes than yours? IE, can you honestly say that your CL 24 pet was just as good as a master BE who creates a CL 24 pet?

One problem in the crafting game is that its geared towards Masters. And even if you are a master, you need to have good materials to work with. People will only buy the best stuff. Any merchant will not be willing to buy something if they don’t think they can re-sell it.

For the change of product...

Yes, right now i changed and concentrate on Pet Stim B.

They are "Factorable"... and easier to sell (i can split the crate to 5 and sell them 6000 on the bazzar)..

Of course, i would like to sell them as crate of 25 or even 50...

I guess these items are more appealing to you merchant then Pets...

Since Droid invasion is near.. i hope people will still want pets...

Well, Its sure that a Master would do better, since he will have more Assembly XP, etc...

But, im not saying theses pets are as good as what a master can do... But there still nice pets for novice CH

I sold, my self, a lot of pets like that in SP... But im tired of standing there and shouting BIO PETS TO SELL...lol

Im sure, theses pets could be sold real easy..(30K -40K$)

But... i think im gonna go for business III to have myself a vendor...

I'm sorry that I'm not on your server (I'm on Kettemoor). But I would have to say that your pets, though appealing, are rather expensive, if I were to buy enough to spread 2 or 3 on each of my six vendors. If you can find a merchant who has multiple shops, spread out across several cities and worlds, then you may need to do something in "good faith" with the merchant. Just give the merchant about twenty of your pets, with the understanding that if they sell, the merchant will keep a certain percentage (agreed to beforehand), and send you the rest. Merchants need a certain amount of profit to be interested in your product. If the merchant sells out ten of the twenty pets within a week, then they could be interested in cash-up-front transactions. If none of the pets sell within two or three weeks, then the merchant will quietly return the pets to you, and thank you, and tell you to not let the door hit you on the way out.

Don't let the negative AFKophobes get you down. Play the game however you want.

Is the beta testing almost over for this game?

I'm on your server, and franly I'm shocked that no one has worked out a deal with you. If you haven't worked something out, send me a message (either E-mail, or Tell) and we will get something worked out for you. Obviously right now Food is the big thing, So I would like to talk to you about supplying Additives at some point But I can get whatever you have up and on the market.
