Thread: What happens to items on offer to a vendor if the owner destroys the vendor?

Yes. Items on the vendor, or in the storeroom, will just go away.

Has anyone tried this and verified it? My experience seems to differ, but it was long ago, near release.
I had offered an item, and it was refused. I was a lost newb, and it took me forever to find the Merchant's shop again. The merchant was very busy re-arranging things, and had deleted the particular vendor my item was on. I could see it in the "available items" on the bazaar and other vendors for what seemed a long time. But since the vendor it was on had been destroyed, there was noplace I could retrieve it.
I submitted a CSR to get it destroyed, and eventually it poofed. Whether from the request or timed out, I don't know.

I lost a load of really good armour atts whilst trying to re-adjust the prices of them. It just said something weird like this item no longer exists!! I was truly gutted as they were worth a fortune (they had been looted from nightsisters). CSR was no help at all.....
