I keep hearing about all these big crafters getting hurt by a limit, well....
If crafter/merchants are limited to "X" of items, would it not be logical to assume that they will try to get the most moeny/sales out of those items?
So if I am a WS instead of selling only "x" number of T-21's or "x" number of LLC's, I am going to start selling them by the crate only (5+ per crate) So Ill only sell crates of T-21, Crates of LLc's, crates of Carbines etc...
Now joe consumer is going to have 2 options... either spend 5x+ the amount they normally would have, but in return get enough of "x" item to last them awhile.. or they can purchase 1 inferior item from a newer, smaller crafter at a lower cost..
While newer players might go with the 2nd choice..at least initially... most other player will buy the crate and be done with it.
Lets face it we all want the best and wont settle for the rest.
Once again the "big" crafters stay big and keep their sales/ number of items up, while the little crafter goes nowhere.
Just a thought on why this "limit" would not work as intended.

or perhaps some of us may be smart enough as merchants to offer a bulk vendor and an individual sales vendor for our wares. granted this will not work in all professions (such as both my architect and my be pets) but several other crafting classes would be able to do this without much difficulty.
another quick thought ... if i am joe consumer why could i not simply split the cost of 5+ crate with four friends that use the same weapons? i am spending the same money as i would have for the individual sales item am i not? or even better, have the guild buy in bulk and then make them available to guildies at cost or free.
there are so many ways that this 'nerf' could be worked around .. and i don't mean in an exploit way ... but within the system provided to make a successful business survive and others to rise up still.
