Thread: Pre-patch Expiring Items

Well, it's not going to break me in any way, but I lost about 20 million in items that delisted and were deleted during a little break I took from the game. I actually even logged in and saw that I had a couple hundred crates of foodin my stockroom that I needed to get relisted, but didn't have the time/energy to relist them and wasn't worried as they were listed with 30+ days before they were to expire. Well, lol, I got 150+ emails for each of those items that were in my stockroom that they have expired and been deleted. It's sad, all I had to do was relist them but didn't rush as I thought I had plenty of time. Oh well, just sharing my misfortune with the community of merchants who may know this pain. Lol, warning to any who don't already know, log in regularly to check your vendors and relist right away as you never know what may happen. I've filed a ticket, but have since been reminded by a friend that items listed before patch 11 didn't get the new 45 day timer, but are still on the old 6 day timer...

I am sorry to hear about your misfortune. Hopefully the CSR will return your items, but I wouldn't hold my breath. I hate the stockroom myself. HATE.

Personally, I have never, never, ever trusted the stockroom. Not one day since this game's release has the f'ing thing worked properly. I fear it like I fear open mike night at a stutterer's convention. Only if a Dev agreed to commit sepuku on my front lawn if my stockroom items were expire-deleted would I ever let an item I cared about fall into that black hole of buggy coding.

A bit over the top perhaps but essentially an accurate presentation of the issues we've had over the past year with the stockroom.

Woo hoo! Have faith fellow merchants, there is hope. I just spoke with CSR-ChrisC, he retrieved every single item and gave me a mass dump of all the items I'd thought had been offered up to the database gods.
