I would love to see us be able to give adminstrative rights to people... It would be so much easier and less time consuming. I am partners with people and it just take so much time to take orders off of the offer and then put them up for sale...

My mainis a Smuggler/Tailor and my alt is a Merchant/Dancer. I'd love to be able to give my main admin on the vendors, instead of having to swap between toons or run two instances of the game (risking a crash) everytime I wanna do anything.

That would defeat the purpose of being a merchant. If we could add people to an admin list, as we do for houses, we would essentially have people running vendors with no merchant skills whatsoever. All you would need is 1 friend in a group to be a merchant, then add everyone else to admin --> a group of people benefiting from merchant abilities without the skill point investment.

And it would lead to merchant mule accounts that never get logged into. Yes you can manage all your merchant needs from one character now but at least you have to log in to do it.

Maybe there could be a happy medium between total merchant control and the proxy rights to another person's vendors. I mean really, it's so bloody ridiculous that I HAVE TO PUT IN EACH AND EVERY ITEM by hand, by myself.

Merchants need a better vendor interface. Be it a master interface where you can control all of your vendors from one window. Or a feature such as putting in a crate of items to the vendor and it automatically being 'dispensed' as those items are purchased.

End result, we need a better, less cumbersome interface with our vendors. This current one is all fine and dandy for single-vendor users, but it's way too inefficient for anything more.

I agree with that wholeheartedly. We do need better interface tools and better ways to accept merchandise for sale. The offers screen is completely inadequate for our needs.

Oh no, this would potential encourage cooperation and possible methods in the game where you could actually control who and what you sell your products to, instead of having no controls over this whatsoever.

You are in a mood. You know full well that this change would just mean a bunch of people using an alt they never had to log on for merchant muling and it would not foster any kind of cooperative gaming whatsoever. There are many ways the system could be enhanced that WOULD foster more cooperation between crafters and merchants but this is probably the worst of them. Anything that removes the merchant from the transations is a bad idea. We need BETTER transactional support not elimination of transactional interaction.
