I am Novice Merchant (xxx2) with 15750 merchant experience saved up. I have 3 vendors in a house I own, which also has a 1 credit entry charge for 15 minutes. The problem is I am not getting any experience.

From reading the FAQ:

I should get 50xp per vendor, per hour?

Also 50xp each time somebody pays the entry fee (15 minutes)?

And 50xp everytime somebody views a vendor?

Are all these correct? All vendors are initialized, have maintence, have items for sale. I also have a friend entering the house every 15 minutes and viewing each vendor.

I've now been 4 hours doing this and still have 15750xp - any ideas?

You don't have to log in, and some times you get bugged. Try shuttling to a different planet and see if your Merchant xp is updated. Also, try accessing your vendors. Some days I will log in with 5k xp and end up with 15k xp just by shuttling.
