Thread: merchants sooo....slow....these past few days

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this (or if it's old news that's been addresses 1000 times already), but my vendors have been very slow these past few days. It's taken between 3 and 5 seconds to list an item on my vendor. During this time, I can't do anything else. It used to be very fast (less than 1 second). It's no big deal if you're just shopping on the bazaar or something, but when you're listing or re-listing several hundred items on a vendor, it can be very frustrating to be waiting through an hour or more of pure dead time.
And I don't think it's my system or internet connection. System is relatively fast AMD Barton 2500+ with 1GB RAM, and a 3Mb/s internet connection. Ping is always good (<100), and fps are good. It's just the vendor UI (and presumably bazaar too) that's been very slow. I assume it's on SOE's side.
I'm on the shadowfire galaxy. Anyone else having particulary worse lag when trying to manage your vendors on any server? If I'm not the only one noticing this, I wonder if it'll get worse with JTL? It's fairly frustrating right now, but if it gets worse, I'd list it as an official merchant profession issue. Hopefully I'm the only one having the problem, or it goes away soon.

No, I noticed it too as soon as the JTL patch went in last week.
It slowed down a LOT of things.
