I'm trying to create a ship vendor with the words "Rebel Starships" and it keeps rejecting it... This is kinda silly. The game uses the word "rebel" but we cant?

Well one workaround (since the filters do not take spacing into account)

S p a c e - o u t - t h e - w o r d....

So my wookiee vendor says -W O O K I E E - WEAR instead of WOOKIEE WEAR which gets rejected for being to furry.

Changing the word into spaced letters does not look to bad on over head map or above the vendor itself (so long as it isnt outragously long).

In fact personallyI like seeing one or two vendors spaced out like that on overhead map...take a ride thru Cnet ring of sales doom and you'll see what I mean.

postscript : if any moron decides to abuse the spacing out to workaround the filter to place 'indecent' named vendors, and they change it so we cant space at all..or worse name the vendors themselves with random generator...I will personally hunt you down to fling you into space.....

....well not really but you would be the cause of many merchants bane and should they find out bannings would definatly occur

The name filter excludes any title or faction specific names. I guess its to avoid confusion.

I can understand to a certain degree, but, its silly that we will beable to sellrebel ships butwe wont be able to have"rebel" in the vendor name.. Just a thought..

Suggestion....and please excuse me if I sound sexist or rude in any way, cause this isn't intended to offend or disrespect anyone of a particular size and shape. It would be nice to be able to create vendors to our liking. What I mean is choosing the vendors height and weight. I'm a master merchant and I normally go thru 5 or more vendors before I get the one I like. I figure it would be easier if we had a choice in some of the vendors physical characteristics.

I can't create a vendor that says General Merchandise because General is a rank! Private Orders is right out. Haven't tried Major Sale yet....

Try using a abbreviation... say "Starships (REB)"
